Lifestyle blogger, Phoebe BeLoved, asked if I would take snap an Engagement Photo Shoot of her and her fiancee, Lon, in their stomping ground in Twickenham. If you know me, you know that I don’t know London at all, so I was really excited to explore.
She asked if we could do the shoot in York House Gardens as it had been a special place for her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and herself alike. The December air was perfect that day, warm and soft. We happily explored the gardens, playing games, telling stories, laughing, and admiring the fountains.
As the sun went down, we headed to the river to watch the sunset.
“Wow, the river gets really high round here.” I commented between photos. A flash of panic appeared on Phoebe and Lon’s face, “Em, where did you park? Did you not know it floods here with the tides?”.
Don’t worry, my car only had a damp tyre as I was the last car parked on that street, PHEW!
You can read about her experience of having a photoshoot with me on her blog! Or why not book your own Engagement Photo Shoot, just remember to warn me if it’s going to flood.
