Kayleigh & Jon’s Beach Castle Wedding

Kayleigh & Jon wanted a chilled-out beach wedding with a WOW factor, they totally got it!

Kayleigh and her bridesmaids spent the morning being pampered by Rachelle from Enchanted Beauty Bournemouth.

Once ready, they had to arrive in style, so they opted for a classic VW Camper Van from Dorset Dub Hire, how else would you arrive to a beach wedding after all!

Now, if you have not heard of Durlston Country Park, I highly recommend a visit. The castle is situated on the cliff edge, and has spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast. Overseen by Blue Bay Events, this venue is so unique.

The truth is though, that even with such amazing views, no one could take their eyes off the beautiful couple during the ceremony. Just look at how they look at each other, I know I always cry at weddings, but I’m nearly in tears writing this just remembering Jon’s reaction when he saw Kayleigh for the first time…seriously, where are the tissues!?

After the ceremony, everyone took a chance to enjoy the views, laugh, smile, and celebrate the day.

Lunch was served by Crab Apple Catering and they did not disappoint! A selection of cheeses, breads, cold cuts, and salads was the perfect lunch to enjoy whilst listening to tales about the couple.

Our beautiful bride, not only put together a lot of the final touches, but she also created the incredible Cheese Cake. She was so inspired by her creation, she has turned it into a business, you can check her out on Jurassic Coast Cheesecakes.

There is one thing that you all know brings me endless joy, coffee. The couple had a “surprise” for me, they had arranged for Beans N Bites Coffee to have a coffee van at the wedding. You know I squeaked when I saw it! But Beans N Bites Coffee had brought their own surprise, they made custom cups with Kayleigh & Jon’s names on for the wedding, the little details are always worth it!

We headed down to the beach for a quiet moment and a few photos. Nothing like sea air to bring a sense of calm.

The party wasn’t over though! Everyone decided to head down to Swanage Beach for some classic beach games and fish and chips. I may have introduced them to “first one to the photographer wins”, a game I love playing with guests! As you can tell from the photos, we spent most of the evening playing it, before digging into our chips.
