Beth and Krista had planned a festival wedding, full of music and laughs, but the weather had its own ideas. That didn’t stop these two!
Luckily, the venue, Knoll Farm Campsite, had two barns separated by a courtyard, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. The barns were overflowing with fairy lights and personal touches, with autumn vibes creating a truly magical warm feeling.
The ceremony was filled with love as the Celebrant, Louise, was a friend of theirs, everything was personal to them. The readings had us all in tears! It was one of those ceremonies that really show how amazing it is to have someone you love and support conduct the ceremony, they really can make it unique.
You’d think the torrential rain outside would stop us, it didn’t! Whilst the guests enjoyed a warm cup of coffee, we ventured out into the field to capture some couple’s photos (this is why I’m a huge fan of bulk buying clear dome umbrellas).
We quickly hurried back to the barn, now filled with music and the smell of coffee. Beth & Krista know an amazing selection of bands from Bournemouth, including the awesome Jonny Phillips, and each took their turn on stage to set the mood.
When it was time for the cake to be cut, there were oohs and ahhs as guests amind the personal cake which even included their dogs.
As the day went on, the guests may have had soggy socks from rains, but that didn’t stop everyone from laughing and loving Krista & Beth’s big day <3.
